Xia was born in Dalian, China; and in 2001 moved to the beautiful city of Auckland, New Zealand where she was married and gave birth to a beautiful daughter which you can see in the portrait painting titled “Blissful”.

Xia’s drawing talent was discovered from a very early age. Over the years she has developed her art skills extensively. Portraits have always been her special area of interest. Each of her artworks is meticulously handcrafted as she continually seeks ways to enhance her art.
